Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant team and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, including financial management, customer service, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service and a seamless dining experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the restaurant is operating within budget.
- Collaborate with the executive head chef and management team to develop and implement menus, promotions, and marketing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
- Manage stock levels, supplies, and inventory to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and analyze financial and commercial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant manager in a similar environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Strong financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
Salary and Benefits:
£50-60k per annum, depending on experience.
