Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant team and drive business success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and achieving financial and commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a large team of staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Manage the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the executive head chef and management team to deliver business strategy and drive growth.
- Oversee stock levels, supplies, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and quality.
- Manage payment systems, petty cash, and ensure all bills are settled at the end of each day.
- Set and achieve financial and commercial targets for the bar, wine cellar, and kitchen.
- Complete general administration tasks, including daily reports, cashing up, and stock control.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
- Ability to analyze financial and commercial performance and make informed decisions.
£50-60k per annum.
