We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Wellness Consultant to join our team at Health and Care Management Ltd. As a key member of our Functional Health team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Corporate Clients with health and wellbeing assessments, health surveillance, and delivering workshops on health topics to empower employees to lead a healthier, happier life.
This is an exciting and varied role that involves some travel to client sites, so a full driving license is required. You will work closely with our Case Management team to conduct initial assessments of individuals referred with ill health or injury seeking support and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify clinical, personal, and occupational risk factors, and develop personalized plans to address these risks.
- Collaborate with the Case Management team to determine the best course of action for each individual, including referrals to other team members or external services as needed.
- Provide education and support to employees on health and wellbeing topics, including exercise, nutrition, and stress management.
- Develop and implement health and wellbeing programs to promote employee engagement and reduce absenteeism.
- Conduct health surveillance, including audiometry testing and other assessments as required.
- Work with clients to identify and address health and safety risks in the workplace.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their health and wellbeing needs are met.
- Relevant degree or experience in a field such as Sport and Exercise Science, Sports Therapy, Personal Training, or a related field.
- Strong experience using MS Office suite and other IT systems and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Knowledge of clinical and non-clinical care pathways, including health and safety regulations.
- Ability to travel to client sites, with a full driving license.
