Acute Frailty Unit Deputy Ward Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Band 6 nursing leader to join our dynamic team as a deputy ward manager on our acute 15-bedded frailty unit. Estimated salary: £43,041 - £70,305 per annum (dependent on experience).

Job DescriptionThis role involves providing professional support to the Ward Manager in the day-to-day management of the ward. You will be working with people who have multiple health/social needs that are often complex.
- You will be responsible for delegating clinical nursing activities to appropriately skilled staff members to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered.
You must demonstrate awareness of treating patients who have no capacity and the steps to be taken to protect vulnerable patients along with the ability to instigate safeguarding referrals.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Active NMC registration
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- Effective teaching/supervisory and leadership skills
