Residential Childcare Worker Job Description:
">We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Childcare Worker. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility and a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and sleep-ins.
">Responsibilities and Requirements:
">The successful candidate will work with young people aged 0-17 who may have mild to moderate learning disabilities, past trauma, or emotional and behavioural challenges.
">Key Requirements:
">- Qualifications: A QCF Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred; however, there is an opportunity to complete this qualification after probation.
- License: A full UK manual driver's license is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
">The hourly rate for unqualified candidates is £11.75, rising to £12 upon qualification. Sleep-ins are paid at £60 per shift, and the role includes 40 hours of work per week.
