Property and Legal Coordinator

Job Overview
The Property and Legal Coordinator is responsible for supporting the property sourcing, management, and legal functions of the business. This role is integral to ensuring efficient operations and compliance while contributing to the growth and management of the property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential property opportunities in specified areas.
- Liaise with estate agents, landlords, and property sellers to gather key information and negotiate deals.
- Create detailed property reports, including ROI projections, for investor review and presentation.
- Manage email inboxes, scan and organise company letters, and respond to property inquiries in a timely manner.
- Flag urgent matters, maintain and update pipelines, and organise meetings, calls, and schedules for the team.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of existing properties, including tenant communications, rent collection, and maintenance issues.
- Ensure legal and compliance requirements are met for all properties, including non-compete agreements, contract violations, and vendor disputes.
- Conduct property inspections and handle tenant onboarding/offboarding processes efficiently.
- Maintain rent database records and raise invoices accurately.
- Assist with inquiries, prepare and exchange contracts, and manage property completions.
- Handle legal disputes and cases related to the business, including utility issues and Local Councils.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in property management, law, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property management, legal administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing properties, preparing contracts, or handling legal disputes.
- Strong understanding of property sourcing, legal processes, and compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organisational skills with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
