Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Project Management Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Project Team, you will be responsible for managing supplier contracts, working collaboratively with HS2 and supply chain resources, and ensuring the efficient delivery of assigned scope within agreed budget, time, and quality parameters.

Responsibilities:
  • To fulfill the duties and obligations of the NEC3 Project Manager on behalf of the Project Client and the Senior Project Manager.
  • To support the Senior Project Manager in effectively and efficiently managing construction contracts within an Integrated Project Team.
  • To establish, monitor, and manage delivery of consistent contract management, including identification of emergent or systemic problems, leading to resolution.
  • To manage and monitor contract performance.
  • To proactively manage risks within the Integrated Project Team scope and support the mitigation of HS2 programme level risks.
  • To perform the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) duties as delegated by the Client Representative.
  • To support a collaborative culture which enables high performance by encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing between HS2 as the client, other Integrated Project Teams, and the supply chain.
  • Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies, and procedures on EDI.

Requirements:
  • Project Management - the ability to plan and integrate projects to deliver target costs, dependencies, risk management, and project benefits. Skills profile aligned to APM Project Manager (intermediate).
  • Problem Solving - the ability to identify problems and review related information to assist in the development and evaluation of options and the implementation of solutions.
  • Analysis - the ability to analyse inputs, assess data in order to assist in the development of strategies and document supporting rationales.
  • Building Relationships - ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to resolve emergent risk situations.

About You:
  • Experience of the entire project lifecycle including planning, procuring, design, construction, and handover.
  • Qualification in project management, engineering, commercial management, or equivalent experience. As HS2 Ltd do not hold a sponsorship license from the Home Office, we are not able to provide sponsorship to any applicant.
