As a key member of our commercial management team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial management services for individual projects. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with our Senior QS and supporting all commercial issues within the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Health, Safety, and Environmental
* Assist the Senior QS with all commercial issues within the project(s)
* Foster a culture of commercial awareness within the team
* Ensure adherence to group procedures and governance
* Delegate appropriate tasks to junior staff while maintaining accountability
* Prepare internal commercial reports and other required documentation
* Prepare Valuations/Applications for payment with full supporting documentation in line with the contract
* Prepare Cost Reports for the client with contractually compliant documentation
* Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules
* Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts from requisitions to payment authorisation and final accounts
* Conduct contract administration, including change management and maintaining registers
* Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering, and change
* Manage cost control and cost mitigation
* Maintain accurate site records
* Implement a WBS structure to meet client and contract requirements
* Assist in preparing the Cost to Complete and Risk Analysis Register for the project(s)
* Prepare change events, extension of time claims, final accounts, etc.
* Measure quantities according to standard methods of measurement as required
* Manage client relationships effectively
* Maximise cash position, including WIP control, cash flow production, and improvement plans
* Assist in producing the margin improvement plan for the project
