Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Crescent Specialist Recruitment - CSR NI Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in providing commercial support to the project team, maintaining commercial information, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial support to the project team, including cost and value reporting, cash flow management, and cost forecasting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level.
  • Liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues, including agreement of variations, claims, and additional payments.
  • Carry out cost management, including forecasting, and update the monthly CVR, cost, and commercial plans.
  • Ensure that sub-contractors have agreed terms and conditions that are appropriate for Cuningham Contracts, with commercial risks identified.
  • Ensure that the supply chain is engaged appropriately with the correct contract terms and conditions.
  • Foster good client relationships and be responsible for subcontract letting, negotiation, and financial accounting.
  • Ensure effective interaction between the commercial team and the operational site teams.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within a QS role.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Familiarity with ICE/NEC forms of contract, including NEC3 or NEC4.
  • Knowledge of current Construction Law.
