Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the European market, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas, customer demands, and emerging opportunities.
  • Sales Performance: Track and analyze sales performance, preparing regular reports on sales activities and revenue forecasts.
  • Presentations: Produce company presentations and assist in presenting to potential and current customers.
  • Industry Events: Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, networking with key stakeholders and promoting our products and services.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales, technical sales, or raw materials sales.
  • Education: Strong background in Chemistry, with a 1st/ 2:1 BSc/ MSc from a reputable university.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of UV-curable technology, raw materials, and downstream industries (coatings, inks, paints, adhesives, etc.).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high interpersonal competence and negotiation abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in English, with comfort using technical terminology and documentation.
  • Technology Skills: Highly proficient in working with technology (laptops, phones) and Microsoft software (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • CRM and ERP: Proficiency with CRM and ERP software.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel around the UK and Europe to meet customers when required.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Direct Experience: Direct experience in the UV-curing market or a background in coatings, inks, or paints.
  • Advanced Education: Masters or PhD in Chemistry.
