Job Title: Design Manager

United Living Group is seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our team. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on budget and to programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage external consultants and coordinate their day-to-day duties
  • Develop and manage the project-specific design programme
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure designs meet statutory design standards
  • Organize and manage technical coordination workshops and design team meetings
  • Oversee document control and registration of design and technical information
  • Review and interrogate consultants' and subcontractors' drawings
  • Monitor production information and consultant activities against budgetary allowances

Requirements:

  • Architectural qualification or equivalent design, technical, and/or construction-based qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in design and detailing of mixed-use residential led schemes
  • Proven track record of successfully managing technical processes in residential buildings
