This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with our civil design team in producing high-quality infrastructure designs for developers, contractors, and landowners. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the preparation of flood risk and drainage assessments.
  • Supporting the production of highway designs, including horizontal and vertical geometry for agreement under Section 38 or 278.
  • Preparing external works and private drainage designs.
  • Developing construction details.
  • Liaising with clients and external agencies, such as Lead Local Flood Authorities, The Environment Agency, Local Highway Authorities, and Water Authorities.
  • Ensuring effective communication with the management team to meet client requirements and deadlines, and working collaboratively with project team members.
  • Continuing professional development in line with the business development plan.
  • Utilizing software experience in AutoCAD and civil engineering design packages.
  • Familiarity with drainage design software such as micro drainage is advantageous but not essential.
