Job Summary: Flagship Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team in Plymouth. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a range of building surveying services to our clients, including contract administration, project delivery, and technical compliance roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement client briefs, ensuring that all requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Administer contracts and deliver projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Manage party wall matters, including negotiations and dispute resolution.
  • Provide technical compliance services, ensuring that all projects meet relevant building regulations and standards.
  • Write specifications and produce schedules of work, ensuring that all requirements are clearly outlined.
  • Design and develop building projects, utilizing AutoCAD and other design software.

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualification with a minimum of 5 years' experience in building surveying.
  • Strong working knowledge of a range of building surveying services, including contract administration, project delivery, and technical compliance roles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting workloads and manage own time effectively.
  • Professional image and confident persona, with the ability to present to clients and stakeholders.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
