Geography Education Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students at our secondary school in Cornwall. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, possess effective behaviour management skills, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To design and implement a comprehensive Geography curriculum tailored to students' needs
- To meet the expected standards as outlined in the Teacher Standards
- To contribute to raising student attainment and promote academic growth
- To monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
Requirements:
- QTS qualification
- Relevant degree in a related field
- Experience teaching within KS3/KS4 (desirable but not essential)
Working Arrangements:
This is a permanent position, commencing January 2025. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday. Planning and marking responsibilities are included in the role.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
