Care Team Manager

About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker at Dovehaven Care Homes, you will be responsible for overseeing the care team within the Home. This involves ensuring that care staff adhere to CQC guidelines and provide exceptional levels of care to residents. You will be expected to promote and deliver high standards of care, as well as supervise and instruct less experienced staff to enable them to contribute fully to the care provided within the Home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the care team to ensure compliance with CQC guidelines
- Promote and deliver high standards of care
- Supervise and instruct less experienced staff
- Ensure care staff provide exceptional levels of care to residents
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
- Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organised
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative
- Dependable and able to work well under pressure
- Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly
- NVQ level 2 in health & social care and a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care
