With an estimated salary of £80,000 per annum, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Manager to join our team at Academy Vets in Stranraer.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a mixed veterinary surgeon with a bias towards small animal caseloads to take on a key leadership position within our practice. As Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team and contributing to the development and direction of our clinics. Your main focus will be on small animal clinical work, operating, and consulting.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in areas such as small animal internal medicine, ultrasound imaging, exotics, or orthopaedics. The role involves working alongside our current Clinical Director and Practice Manager, as well as the Area Director and Area Support Manager, to achieve our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of veterinary professionals and contribute to the development of the clinic's direction
  • Conduct small animal clinical work, including operating and consulting
  • Develop and maintain expertise in specific areas of small animal medicine
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the leadership team to achieve business objectives
