**Job Summary:**
Armstrong Knight is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including all necessary schedules, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Develop and analyze monthly cost variance reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Reconcile balance sheet control accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and maintain a fixed asset register.
- Oversee the sales and allocation of balances, and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts to quarterly payments and allocation of balances in Sage.
- Complete daily cashbook reconciliations and agree on discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly Auction Summary and Profit Share reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely VAT Returns for all companies.
- Assist the Financial Controller in authorizing online payments and complete credit card summaries.
- Support the year-end audit process and provide treasury and cashflow accounting expertise.
- Liaise with the wider accounts team to ensure they meet their targets in completing underlying ledgers.
**Requirements:**
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in a similar senior finance role is required.
- Strong communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail are necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and intermediate/advanced Excel skills are required.
- Experience with Sage 200 is an advantage.
