Exceptional Senior Care Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate individual to work as a Senior Support Worker in a reputable care home based in the Northampton area.
This exceptional care home offers spacious facilities, providing a perfect setting for nursing, residential, dementia, and respite care.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
As a Senior Support Worker, key responsibilities include:
- Recognising and meeting the daily needs of residents
- Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals
- Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
- Participating in promoting services offered when interacting with relatives, prospective residents, and enquiries
- Updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
- Making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
- Administering medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures

- Proven experience working in a care setting
- A good team player
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- A genuine desire to care for others
The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of £25,272 per annum (£13.50 per hour) and enjoy a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, comprehensive induction, paid training programme, enhanced bank holiday rates, recognition schemes, paid breaks, uniform provision, refer-a-friend scheme, DBS costs reimbursement, and rewards for years of service.
