The Volkswagen Group UK National Learning Centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Panel and MET Technical Trainer to join their team. As a key member of the training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs and assessments to develop the skills and knowledge of others.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver core Panel and MET content, systems, and project-based training programs.
- Design and deliver engaging, learner-focused training solutions.
- Ensure all training delivered is aligned to VWG and individual brand cultures and requirements.
- Utilize appropriate technology in the delivery of learning interventions, such as e-learning and virtual classrooms & digital solutions.
- Develop course content necessary for the delivery of new Model Launches.
- Perform all aspects of the role to the agreed standards set out within yearly objectives.
- Complete associated administrative tasks in time agreed.
- Automotive retail or body repair experience is essential.
- Detailed and accurate work ethos.
- Self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience of achieving against challenging performance targets.
- Logical approach with a high level of numeracy and accuracy.
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritize conflicting activities.
- Positive can-do attitude.
- The ability to engage and inspire.
- Innovative, up-to-date with new and revised learning and development theories, practices, and methodologies, including technological advancements.
- Experience of how technology can be used in the delivery of learning using assets such as e-learning, virtual classrooms, video, and social media.
- Personable while imparting varying levels of technical knowledge.
- A team player yet capable and willing to work on own initiative.
- Competent IT skills – All Microsoft Office Packages.

Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate. The nature of this role may necessitate that we undertake a DBS check.
