Job Title: MET Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our team at an award-winning bodyshop in Milton Keynes. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for removing and refitting mechanical and electrical trims/panels/components on vehicles, ensuring that all work is carried out in a professional and correct manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove and refit mechanical and electrical trims/panels/components on vehicles
  • Ensure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner
  • Carry out inspections, fault finding, and diagnostic work
  • Re-assemble the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition
  • Stripping and fitting components, bodywork, and trim elements
  • Perform road testing and ensure that all jobs are completed within the estimated times
  • Check that all parts are ordered as per estimate, to ensure that the repair can be completed without delay

Requirements:

  • Proven past experience on four-wheel alignment, vehicle diagnostics, geometry, ADAS, and 360 cameras
  • Extended knowledge and experience to align any vehicle body and chassis and all related suspension components
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment without compromising the vehicle's safety
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is paramount either working alone or as part of a team
  • Clean driving license required for manoeuvring vehicles on site and road tests
