About the Role

This position is part of a small unit consisting of a Team Manager, three experienced social workers, a Family Support Worker, and an Assistant. The team provides comprehensive support services to families, promoting positive outcomes for vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments under S17 and S47 to identify the needs of children and their families.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to support children at risk, collaborating closely with other agencies where necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to families, helping them to navigate the complexities of the child protection system.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting vulnerable children.
