Autism Assessment Specialist

Sirona Care & Health, a leading provider of Adult and Children's Community Services in England, seeks an experienced Autism Assessment Specialist to join our Clinical Team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the diagnostic assessment of children and young people aged 2.4 to 18 years across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG). This part-time position is 22.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather and analyze information, conduct direct observations, and complete assessments primarily in school settings, with some clinical appointments in clinics and health hubs.
- Provide clear, timely feedback to schools, families, and young people about the outcomes of the assessments, both verbally and in written reports.
- Identify when further assessment is required to complete the child or young person's assessment.
- Work closely with other agencies such as education and social services to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
The ideal candidate will have effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. The salary for this position is approximately £40,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus full NHS benefits, 27+ days' annual leave, and participation in the NHS Pension Scheme.
