Product Safety Specialist

At iO Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Safety Engineer to join our team in the UK or EU. As a Product Safety Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise project and engineering managers on product safety matters, ensuring that safety considerations are effectively addressed and implemented.
  • Collaborate with third parties to review and gather evidence for the safety case.
  • Develop both physical and functional safety arguments using appropriate analysis methods, and produce and update safety case and safety management documentation in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Line manage other safety professionals.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of safety engineering processes, practices, and tools.
  • Strong grasp of safety engineering and assurance principles.
  • Qualified engineers from other disciplines who exhibit the right behaviors and an understanding of safety engineering will also be considered.
