Role Description

As a Functional Skills Tutor in our SEND provision, you will be responsible for:

  • Teaching basic skills such as English and Maths to students of varying abilities
  • Developing and implementing individualized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Managing pupil behaviour and ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Collecting evidence of student progress and reporting to parents and carers
  • Participating in the wider school environment, including breaks and lunchtimes
