Key Responsibilities:

  • Surveying and Reporting: Conduct thorough damp and mould surveys of residential properties, producing high-quality condition reports that can be relied upon in court proceedings.
  • Investigations and Recommendations: Identify building defects and recommend remedial works to restore properties to a safe and habitable condition.
  • Contractor Management: Oversee the completion of remedial works by contractors, ensuring that all works are carried out to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Witness Support: Provide expert testimony in court as required, supporting solicitors and other stakeholders in legal proceedings.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with our team of Response Surveyors, providing guidance and training on best practices and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in damp and mould surveying, preferably with a focus on disrepair.
  • Skillset: Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and techniques, as well as experience with relevant software and equipment.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related field, such as a degree in Building Surveying or a DipHE in Construction.
