Job Overview

The Vistry Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Manager to oversee the management of our timber frame development projects in South Devon. As part of our team, you will be responsible for directing resources and ensuring the completion of designated projects on time, to specification, and within budget.

Salary and Benefits
Our Senior Site Manager role comes with a competitive basic salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus and company car or car allowance. Additionally, you will enjoy up to 33 days annual leave, private healthcare, and enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave.

Key Responsibilities
- Directing the necessary labour, plant, staff, and equipment to achieve both plot and project completion on time, to specification, and within budget.
- Monitoring that the Buying team and Surveying department order the correct materials and sub-contract services in good time to meet contract objectives.
- Managing site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating any necessary corrective actions.

Requirements
- A proven background in new build housing site management and timber frame construction.
- Valid SMSTS certificate and First Aid at Work certificate.
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to mentor and develop others.
- Ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels and build productive stakeholder relationships.
