International Group Account Director - Ad Sales and Brand Partnerships Lead

About the Role

The International Group Account Director will be responsible for achieving the fiscal revenue target for Paramount Advertising International Ad Sales, focusing on 360, Pan-Regional, Ad Sales and Brand Partnership deals. This role will also deliver revenue across Paramount's linear, video, and streaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Revenue Maximisation
    • Negotiate annual agency trading agreements and client trading agreements.
    • Determine sales strategy, including pricing, incentives, trading, key client targets, key sponsorship opportunities, and research initiatives across TV and Digital.
    • Coordinate with SVP and VP Digital Ad Sales to maintain and cultivate key senior agency and client relationships.
    • Manage weekly revenue forecasting and provide management information to appraise senior management of progress.
    • Identify and take new sales opportunities to market and explore new revenue streams across linear, social, and streaming.
    • Work with SVP sales to set annual revenue targets and sales bonus incentives for pan-regional revenues.
  2. Management
    • Manage and motivate pan-regional, non-digital sales teams.
    • Supervise deal closure and deal management.
    • Coach and set goals for individual team members.
    • Lead weekly sales meetings, providing clear direction to individuals and the sales team as a whole.
    • Ensure Account Directors are actively managing team performance and development.
  3. Liaison
    • Liaise with creative services and VP Digital Ad Sales to ensure timely input into pitches and clear delivery.
    • Represent the company externally at a senior level, building strategic alliances.
    • Work with VP of Operations on campaign planning and management, providing insight into changing media metrics and pricing.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in TV advertising, demonstrating strong negotiation and trading skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, run, and motivate a team, setting policy and achieving targets.
  • Strong relationships with senior media agency personnel, including trading and partnership directors.
  • Understanding of barter deals and commercials.
