Collections Officer Role

About the Job

CBC Resourcing Solutions is seeking a skilled Collections Officer to join our team in the Asset Finance department. As a Collections Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Collections Manager in all collection activities, including arrears collection, debt recovery, and subhire audit functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage daily returned payments to reduce and prevent customer debt
  • Effectively manage busy workflow and identify key objectives
  • Assist in monitoring the performance of the portfolio of over 6,500 live accounts
  • Close liaison with professional advisers, brokers, valuers, and recovery agents
  • Support Collections Manager in all collections activities within company policy guidelines and as directed by Senior Manager
  • Ensure customers are treated fairly and FCA regulations are adhered to

Requirements

  • Previous arrears or collections experience is essential
  • Excellent customer service skills are required
