ACII Classroom Infrastructure Specialist

Role Overview:
The GBA5 EntServ UK Limited team is seeking a skilled and dedicated ACII Classroom Engineer to join our Defence Training Services team. This role involves building, implementing, and supporting changes within the ACII Classroom environment, as well as providing support to MOD's own support staff when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement changes within the ACII Classroom environment to ensure seamless training experiences.
- Collaborate with MOD's support staff to resolve technical issues and provide 2nd/3rd line support.
- Manage and maintain specialized classroom environments for BOWMAN radio training, Virtual Battlefield Simulation, and other training modules.
- Oversee a network consisting of around 150 servers and 4500 workstations across 54 MOD sites, with expansion expected in the next 12 months.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with SCCM and Wintel environments, including Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Citrix, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of environmental support to networks and hands-on experience with IT hardware and software installation, modification, maintenance, and repair.
- System roll-out experience and familiarity with McAfee EPO, Veritas, Hyper-V, and VMware.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with HPE Proliant hardware.
Security Clearance:
This role requires security clearance. Applicants must be British Citizens who have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5 years.
