About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and caring individual to join our team of Education Support Workers at Wessex Lodge School. Our school provides specialist education for vulnerable pupils and young people, and we are committed to safeguarding and promoting their welfare.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with complex needs, including Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Non-Verbal and Pre-Verbal and Communicational difficulties, in a responsive and caring approach.
  • Undertake personal care duties to support our students, including running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences, and supervising pupils as they explore further afield.
  • Work collaboratively with our talented staff team to improve life outcomes for every student, using a proven range of practitioner-led services and THRIVE approach.
Requirements
  • GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • A Full Manual Driving Licence.
  • The ability to offer Forest school, outdoor activities, or adventure activities would be a distinct advantage.
