About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Time and Recovery Worker to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing recovery-focused interventions to children and young people with mental health needs in Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide child and young person recovery-focused interventions to address complex care needs.
  • Work collaboratively with families and the network to develop daily activities promoting social inclusion and supporting organisational commitment.
  • Support the development of autonomy and empowerment for young people and families in receipt of CAMH Services.
  • Work under the guidance of an allocated clinician to provide time-limited task and goal-focused recovery interventions.

Person Specification
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and skills acquired through experience OR equivalent levels of experience or training working in a health or social care setting.
  • Experience of working with people with mental health needs in a paid or voluntary capacity.
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
  • Experience of being supervised.
  • Experience of analysing and communicating complex information verbally and in writing.
  • Experience of working in community settings.
