Junior Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team of geotechnical consultants in Glasgow. As a Junior Geotechnical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of ground investigation projects and develop your skills in geotechnical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with site walkovers and ground investigations
  • Carry out desk studies and prepare phase plans
  • Take soil samples and bore-hole logging
  • Prepare factual and interpretive reports
  • Work on in situ testing and observe day-to-day tasks
Requirements:
  • Experience in Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental Engineering
  • BSc in geology, engineering geology, geography, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable)
  • Keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills
  • Willing to work outdoors and travel for work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commutable to Glasgow and surrounding area
  • Full right to work in the UK
