Junior Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team of geotechnical consultants. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of ground investigation projects and receive specialist training and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with site walkovers and ground investigations.
  2. Conduct desk studies and prepare phase plans.
  3. Take soil samples and bore-hole logs.
  4. Write factual and interpretive reports.
  5. Work on in situ testing and observe day-to-day tasks.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Geotechnical /Geo-Environmental Engineering.
  2. BSc in geology, engineering geology, geography, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
  3. Keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills.
  4. Willing to work outdoors and travel for work.
  5. Full UK driving licence.
  6. Commutable to Glasgow and surrounding area.
  7. Full right to work in the UK.
