KIMS Hospital in Sevenoaks is seeking a skilled Business Development professional to drive revenue growth and expand services. As a Business Development Strategist, you will collaborate with consultants, management, and primary care providers to cultivate effective partnerships and relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate effective partnerships and relationships with consultants and their Medical Secretaries, understanding the best utilisation of their time, maximising capacity and efficiencies to maximize service capacity, efficiency, and patient care.
  • Be involved in new consultant inductions and understand the onward referral pathway processes to KIMS Hospital.
  • Analyse financial and activity data to identify trends and drive business opportunities. Lead specialty specific projects to developing new services, whilst working with local businesses, raising awareness of services available at Sevenoaks Medical Centre and the wider KIMS Hospital / Lyca Health network.
  • Bdil on local healthcare knowledge to promote the integrated proposition between the Sevenoaks Medical Centre and the wider KIMS Hospital /Lyca network.
  • Identify partnership opportunities to deliver seamless referral pathways with other local primary care providers.
  • Expand NHS relationships to enhance service offerings available at Sevenoaks Medical Centre.

About this Role

This is a full-time permanent position, offering a competitive salary range of £32,000-£38,000 depending on experience, along with 33 days annual leave plus extra time off for your birthday. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience working with consultants, GPs, medical secretaries, and healthcare professionals in a private hospital setting. You should also have strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare specialties, and private healthcare practices. Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify trends and insights, excellent relationship-building skills, adaptable communication style, and a calm approach during challenges are essential. Ability to adapt communication style and demonstrate constructive and calm approach and ability to prioritise and manage own workload amid conflicting demands and busy work periods are also required.
