Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all employee relations throughout the organization, providing professional advice and guidance on HR policy and practice.
  • Support the development and introduction of new and existing policies, procedures, and processes for people and culture.
  • Create initiatives to support employees' physical and mental well-being.
  • Implement annual performance reviews for the business.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Drive Staff Intranet and internal communications.
  • Lead HR projects focused on well-being and mental health.
  • Take the lead on initiatives, celebrating success, and employee recognition.
  • Train and develop employees, identifying skills gaps.
  • Manage the onboarding and induction process.
  • Manage exit interviews and provide feedback to directors.

Requirements
  • Proven track record in a senior people role.
  • Experience working in an SME organization, ideally in a standalone role.
  • Full generalist background, including recruitment and training.
  • Positive approach, professional, and confident to deliver in line with objectives.
  • Ability to work in an autonomous role with a varied workload.
  • Confidence to deliver as part of the senior management team.
  • Engagement with and desire to make a difference.
  • CIPD level 5 qualification.
