Graduate EHS Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate EHS Engineer to join our team at Harris Geospatial Solutions. As a Graduate EHS Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Quality, EHS, and Facilities Manager in ensuring conformance to ISO14001, ISO45001, and business requirements.
- Identify EHS training needs and develop/deliver training materials, such as toolbox talks.
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding EHS issues and work with the EHS and Facilities team to ensure compliance to EHS legislation.
- Review and improve current working practices with regards to Health and Safety.
- Conduct and support risk assessments and support environmental sustainability improvements in line with L3HUK targets.
- Perform internal audits across the Business Management System and coordinate and report on continual improvement programmes within the business.
Requirements
- HND/Degree level qualification in a Science, Engineering, Business, or Sustainability Discipline.
- Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analyses and devise suitable corrective action plans.
- Experience using a wide range of root cause analysis tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable interpersonal skills.
