We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Anchor. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our residents' living environments and communal areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all areas of the home are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Assist with laundry and cleaning tasks, including the use of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or domestic support role, preferably in a care or residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the use of equipment and cleaning products.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures, including COSHH and data protection.
