Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Gastroenterology. As a key member of our Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and undertake preliminary investigations, under agreed protocols, following clinical assessment.
  • Implement decisions made by senior medical staff and make appropriate referrals to specialties and professions allied to medicine.
  • Develop and implement training programmes for health professionals using specialist knowledge and skill.
  • Advocate health promotion strategies and modification of lifestyles/behaviour in terms of prevention of deterioration in disease process.

Person Specification:
  • Registered nurse with significant post-registration experience.
  • Completed the non-medical Prescriber's Course (V300).
