NHS Scotland is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Cook at Ayrshire Central Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals for patients and staff, including therapeutic diets, and working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high standard of hygiene.

The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale catering, preferably within an NHS environment, and hold relevant qualifications such as City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or an S/NVQ qualification along with a Food Hygiene Certificate. They will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.

The salary for this position is approximately £26,200 per year, based on a 22.3 hour week, which includes a shift pattern of three days over seven days, with the ability to cover shifts between 6:30am and 6pm, including weekends.
