Electrical Systems Control Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Control Engineer to join our team in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and control, with experience in managing projects from initial tender stage to site acceptance test.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create detailed drawings in AutoCAD Electrical format
  2. Manage projects for the full life cycle, including initial tender stage and site acceptance test
  3. Lead a small team of electricians in manufacturing and assembly
  4. Oversee project budgets and schedules
  5. Manage external contractors and maintain a safe working environment
  6. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  1. Electrical design background in panel manufacturing
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience in project management
  3. Full UK driver's license
  4. Qualifications to degree/HNC/HND in engineering or equivalent
  5. Skills in interpreting electrical drawings, documentation, and data
  6. Desirable: various safety qualifications such as CSCS Card / site safety passport / MEWP / IPAF / SSSTS
Working Hours:
  1. Full time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 13:30)
  2. Middlesbrough based with some travel to client sites required
