Electrical Systems Control Engineer Job Description

Intelect (UK) Limited is a leading electrical and mechanical engineering company with a strong presence in the process industries. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Control Engineer to join our team in Middlesbrough.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage projects from initial tender stage to site acceptance test, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  2. Lead a small team of electricians in manufacturing and building electrical panels.
  3. Oversee project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  4. Manage external contractors and maintain a safe working environment.
  5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Electrical design background in panel manufacturing, with a minimum of 2 years' experience managing projects.
  2. Full UK driver's license and qualifications to degree/HNC/HND in engineering or equivalent.
  3. Strong skills in interpreting electrical drawings, documentation, and data.
  4. Desirable: various safety qualifications such as CSCS Card / site safety passport / MEWP / IPAF / SSSTS.
Working Hours:
  1. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 13:30).
  2. Middlesbrough based with occasional travel to client sites.
