Electrical Systems Control Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Control Engineer to join our team in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and control, with experience in managing projects from initial tender stage to site acceptance test.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create detailed drawings in AutoCAD Electrical format
  2. Manage projects for the full life cycle, including initial tender stage to site acceptance test
  3. Lead a small team of electricians in manufacturing and assembly
  4. Oversee project budgets and schedules
  5. Manage external contractors and maintain a safe working environment
  6. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and other stakeholders
Requirements
  1. Electrical design background in panel manufacturing
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience in project management
  3. Full UK driver's license
  4. Qualifications to degree/HNC/HND in engineering or equivalent
  5. Skills in interpreting electrical drawings, documentation, and data
  6. Desirable: various safety qualifications such as CSCS Card / site safety passport / MEWP / IPAF / SSSTS
Working Hours
  1. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 13:30)
  2. Middlesbrough based with some travel to client sites required
