We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our multidisciplinary therapy team as a Senior Occupational Therapist in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents by providing high-quality occupational therapy services.

About the Role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, collaborating with the therapy team, and promoting choice, dignity, and independence for our residents.

  • Manage a clinical caseload, working with residents, their loved ones, and professionals to develop and deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions.
  • Supervise junior therapists or therapy assistants to ensure delivery of evidence-based, high-quality therapy and rehabilitation.

You will work closely with the physiotherapist, therapy assistant, and activities coordinators to provide comprehensive care to our residents.

  • A thorough understanding of occupational therapy best practice and the ability to demonstrate an excellent range of occupational therapy interventions and treatments.

  • Creative thinking and sound organisational skills to manage your workload efficiently.
  • Great listening and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the therapy team and stakeholders.
