Maintenance Engineer

E3recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's Market Leading Chemical Manufacturing team. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of the chemical production process.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform planned preventative maintenance regimes and inspection schedules on site plant, equipment, and buildings.
- Collaborate with site Permit to work and risk assessment systems.
- Maintain liquid transfer systems, relief devices, pumps, tanks, valves, gaskets, and additional site equipment.
- Assist with the design and maintenance of electrical systems to current specifications and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
The ideal candidate will hold a HNC or equivalent in an electrical or engineering discipline, with hands-on experience and a demonstrable track record of success. Experience within a manufacturing setting, ideally from a chemical background with an awareness of COMAH, is beneficial.
