Job Description

As a MI Analyst at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in developing, tracking, and analyzing operational metrics through trend analysis and client insights. Your primary objective will be to translate outcomes into data-driven decisions, collaborating with teams across the bank to align and integrate analytics and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain operational metrics through trend analysis and client insights
  • Collaborate with teams to align and integrate analytics and reporting processes
  • Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practices in analytics and reporting procedures
  • Participate in projects to improve analytics and reporting efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop reports and presentations on translated data and communicate findings to internal stakeholders
  • Execute automated trend analysis and client insights to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Evaluate breaches of policies and procedures and escalate appropriately
  • Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the bank
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
  • Programming skills in Python, VB, VBA, and JavaScript
