Product Compliance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading food industry company as a Product Compliance Specialist. Based in Knutsford, Cheshire, you will be working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and end times.

The PA Ross team embodies a forward-thinking, problem-solving approach, excelling in sales, marketing, product development, and category management. You'll be joining a small team and be part of the big picture, with regular taste tests of products.
About the RoleIn this role, you will support our compliance and product quality processes. This includes assisting with setting up new products, checking packaging accuracy, managing consumer queries, and coordinating with manufacturing and distribution teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
You will work closely with suppliers to support compliance with basic food safety checks and testing requirements. Your attention to detail will ensure precise data entry and checking specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Product Setup Support: Assist with data entry for new product setups, ensuring that technical details align with specifications.
- Packaging and Artwork Checks: Help review artwork and packaging to ensure compliance with food standards.
- Compliance Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food safety and quality checks, and support audit documentation.
- Consumer Inquiries: Manage incoming consumer questions and complaints, working with relevant teams to provide timely responses.
- Quality Support: Coordinate with suppliers to support compliance with basic food safety checks and testing requirements.
- Attention to Detail: Comfortable with precise data entry and checking specifications.
- Interest in Food Safety: Basic familiarity with food safety and compliance standards is helpful; training is provided.
- Organisational Skills: Able to keep accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Friendly and professional when managing consumer inquiries and team coordination.
We offer flexibility on hours and predominantly work in the office as teamwork and collaboration is key but there is the opportunity to work from home when the time requires. Statutory holidays and pension scheme provided.
£20,000 per annum, a highly sought-after location with free parking at our site, and access to beautiful walks such as Tatton Park make this an attractive role.
