Job Overview:

Experis IT is seeking a highly skilled ILMT data specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining ILMT data accuracy, extracting ILMT Computers report from Service Now, and identifying and removing ceased and AWS servers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of ILMT data accuracy on an ongoing basis
  • Extraction of ILMT Computers report from Service Now, including operational servers
  • Identification and removal of ceased and AWS servers
  • Re-classification of instances if mis-reporting occurs due to incorrect component to product mappings
  • Manual exclusions for Cold DR/Bundled products
  • Extraction of regular ILMT reports and audit snapshot to assess current compliance position
  • Support for IASP Audit (Deloitte) - Twice-yearly audit reporting to IBM: all products/all metrics
  • Provision of data/reports as required by Deloitte
  • Creation of ILMT audit snapshot/Hardware report/computers report/dashboard snapshot
  • Extraction of all current Operational servers from Service Now
  • Collection of VM (host/cluster) data from Compute team
  • Regular calls with Deloitte to discuss progress against actions/data requirements
  • Engagement with SMEs/Product Owners to provide data/evidence requested by Deloitte for all non-PVU based products (including mainframe)
  • Internal review of Mainframe 'consumption' figures in agreement with Mainframe Team
  • Request for additional software data from SAM Governance Team for Computers not in ILMT
  • Validation of server list provided by Deloitte against ILMT (hardware) data
  • Follow up to provide additional data/evidence following review by Deloitte
  • Resolution of discrepancies identified by Deloitte
  • Review/actioning of manual ILMT updates following audit
  • Informal internal PVU licence True-up for early detection/remediation of any risk issues
  • Assessment of risk impact of ineligible Technologies
  • Review/analysis of ILMT computers with Issue reports to identify/address issues (e.g., servers without software scans/VM manager data) with GTSM Tooling Team/Platform Team/App Teams as needed

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of ILMT and its applications
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot data discrepancies
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with ServiceNow and other relevant software tools
