About the Job

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Public Health is looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to support our AEAC department. In this role, you will be responsible for data management, programming, statistical analysis, report building, and database management.

Job Description:

  1. Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets
  2. Programming: Develop and implement data manipulation scripts using various software packages
  3. Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistical tests and generate reports to support decision-making
  4. Report Building: Design and build reports using relational databases
  5. Database Management: Manage and maintain databases to ensure data security and integrity

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Math, Psychology, Statistics or a related field, and two years of related experience. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience will be considered.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000-$62,500, commensurate with skills and abilities. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
