Our Transmission team is responsible for developing, building, maintaining, and operating the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland. We are committed to delivering safe and reliable energy to the communities we serve, and we are looking for students who share our passion for sustainability and innovation.
As a summer placement student, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including the Eastern Green Link (EGL) project, which is a joint venture between SSE and National Grid. You will work closely with our experienced project managers and engineers to develop your skills and knowledge in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
We are looking for students who are studying electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering, and who have a genuine interest in the energy sector.
