Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shift Goods Coordinator to join our team at Univar Solutions. As a Shift Goods Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all materials inbound and outbound from gate entrance through to exit, including weighbridge duties, driver inductions, and all inbound and outbound safety documents.
  • Conduct first-line safety checks for ullage, correct UNs, correct quantities, etc.
  • Create operational work documentation.
  • Carry out roll calls on the driver books, visitor books, and site books.
  • Open, close tanks on the SCADA system, load up production orders, and perform general tasks on the SCADA system to cover the Shift Manager.
  • Cover the Shift Manager on the radio.
  • Take calls to book vehicles into site using the ACCESS system.
  • HMRC Document processing.
  • Other tasks and admin as required.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Self-starter.
  • Numerically accurate and competent.
  • Strong IT skills, mainly Excel, Outlook, Word.
  • Dangerous Good Note Qualification and Emergency Roll Call Training is desirable but not essential.
  • SAP knowledge is desirable.
